Q. “Loved your ‘online marketing’ masterclass [http://tinyurl.com/ywyucg]! Tracey, I wanted to ask you what you’d say is the single most critical thing to address as a fairly new start-up compared to all the established companies? I need to get attention fast!”
A. Thanks! There was a lot to get through, wasn’t there? I tend to go overboard with these things and give WAY more than I had ever anticipated…
Anyway, back to your question… Well, there is no question about it! THE most important area for any business to address – especially at the early stages – is to consider why your business exists in the first place. Only once you’ve really thought about this can you come up with a decent core marketing message that will set you apart from any other business. Without this, your business will always be chasing business, and struggling to find its position in the market place.
If you set aside 4-7 intensive days and ask yourself the right questions, you’ll be set up in no time.
