I suppose that is what happens when live in an increasingly paranoid and sensitive society with political correctedness gone off beam.
Advertisers, of course, exploit this ‘shock value’ to bring attention to something. It’s like that old chestnut: There’s no such thing as bad publicity…
What do you think? Are ads getting more and more outrageous and disrespectful. Should there be a line drawn above which ads should not cross? If so, what specific criteria would you use?
